The ski slope “Globoki klanec” was built in 1997. The length of the slope is 520 m. It is equipped with lighting for night skiing, a ski lift which anchors and a piste basher. In 2003 the building of the infrastructure started for artificial snow blowers. The ski lift was renewed in the year 2013 and this year they used the snow blower for artificial snow for the first time. In the last few years there was not much snow and the slope was not in operation many times, but the active members of the ski club Sveti Tomaž, provided together with the municipality a new opportunity for the operation of the slope »Globoki klanec« in Hranjigovci yet again, which was the strong wish of many people, but most of all the fans of winter sports. The ski slope is very interesting and became a popular attraction of this part of Slovenia.
